Manor Grove

Manor Grove began as an unused logo direction created for a completely different client project. While the client ultimately chose to move forward with another concept, I saw strong potential in this particular visual direction and decided to continue developing it independently. Rather than leaving the concept behind, I reimagined it as a new brand identity and transformed it into Manor Grove, a fictional boutique hotel brand.

Manor Grove was developed as a refined hospitality concept inspired by historic manor houses, timeless elegance, and understated luxury. The brand is positioned as a boutique hotel set within a restored 19th-century estate, offering an experience defined by warmth, heritage, and quiet exclusivity. The visual identity draws on classic architecture, curated interiors, and an old-world sense of charm, while still feeling polished and relevant in a contemporary context.

The goal of the project was to build a brand that feels both sophisticated and inviting. Through a combination of elegant typography, a custom monogram, rich muted colours, and carefully considered brand applications, the identity aims to communicate comfort, quality, and a sense of escape. The project includes logo development, a colour palette, branded stationery, hotel amenities, signage, and visual mockups designed to bring the world of Manor Grove to life.

This project became an opportunity to explore how a discarded concept could evolve into a fully realised brand with its own story, atmosphere, and identity. By developing Manor Grove further, I was able to create a cohesive and immersive branding project that reflects my interest in thoughtful, mood-driven design and premium visual storytelling.
