This assignment challenged me to build a complete brand identity for a new candy-coated chocolate aimed at Gen Z. The brief required us to develop a unique brand name, custom wordmark logo, packaging design, visual style guide, poster with an informational infographic, and social media content. I created Nomu Nomu, a playful and memorable name that reflects the fun, snackable nature of the product while appealing to a younger audience. The custom wordmark features rounded, bubbly forms to convey friendliness and energy without feeling childish. The visual identity uses a bold but soft color palette inspired by the candy’s six color coatings, combined with a flat illustration style to maintain clarity and youthfulness. The informational poster focuses on the brand’s commitment to ethically sourced cocoa, turning a serious topic into an engaging and easy-to-understand narrative using approachable icons, hierarchy, and color-blocking. Every design decision was guided by the goal of striking the right balance between fun and credibility, ensuring the brand feels both exciting and trustworthy to a young audience.
